2022 BEA On-Location

There are multiple ways that the Broadcast Education Association has been making diversity and inclusion a primary focus of its work. The panelists featured in this session will showcase their work whether it be in the area of teaching, research or service that helps to increase the diversity of perspectives and inclusive nature of the work done as a media educator. Two of the presenters have been involved in outreach and engagement with Hispanic-Serving Institutions while one has given leadership to a campus-based diversity effort. A fourth panelist has focused on global research in the areas of race, gender and disability.
